Laura's Story
Let's see, after high school I took the summer off but; thereafter I started working full time. I didn't continue my education through college for many reasons. However, I did travel and tried to live life to its fullest. Honestly, I learned more out of school then in. I was never a big fan of sitting in a classroom and listening to dictation...that's just boring. I never liked to hear about a place, I would rather be there instead. Through the years I did keep in contact and/or worked with allot of great friends from UM. I married a great guy on Oct 7, 2006 in OC, Maryland. "Beach Wedding" but there was a lovely Nor easter in the way. At any rate we all ended up having a great time and paid no mind to the weather. We currently live in western Chester County, PA and love it there. I will, however, always be partial to Willow Grove because of the history that I hold there. If I had to give anyone one piece of advice it would be in a quote from one of my favorite songs "Don't sit upon the shorelines and say you're satisfied, choose to chance the rapids and dare to dance the tides". Life is to short, stop sitting and start living. To the class of 86!!!! May we all cross paths again someday.
