Charles's Story

Charles and I got married in highschool. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren ages 21-3. In 2005 Charles was diagnosed with MDS (Myleodysplasia Syndrome) a form of leukemia. It compromised his red blood cells and weakened his immune system and caused problems with his...Expand for more
heart. He had 185 blood transfusions in 4 years and 1 month. He fought a brave battle but went home October 2010. It has been almost 11 months but my heart feels like it was yesterday. He was a GREAT guy, wonderful father and my soul mate. I am totally lost without him.
