School
It is so hard to believe that we have been out of school for 20+ years. Our 20th reunion was great! If you missed it - you missed a great get together!! We had great food, great friends, great teachers and so much more!!
It is hard to sum up all the fun we had!! We laughed so much at different stories that were told about when we were in school.
This reunion was so good, that I can't wait for the next one!! Hope to see you there!!
College
I moved to Duncanville after graduation. I went to Cedar Valley College my first year and I worked at Guaranty Bank. My first year of college, I had a good friend that I ran around with, but I was missing everyone in Mabank.
My sister moved up the next year and Tony also moved over to go to school at Mountain View with me. Elisha & I worked at First State Bank of Texas in Duncanville. The next year, Tony & I got married and move...Expand for more
d to Mississippi to help his family with their family business.
Workplace
I started my Mary Kay business when T.C. was 3 years old while we were living in Mississippi. I had lived in Texas all of my life and never was approached to try Mary Kay. We moved to Mississippi and that was where I was asked to be a model. In about a month, I signed my agreement and started my journey. What excited me about this opportunity was that I received my products at 50% off and that I finally found a product that helped reduce the oil on my face!! (I was tired of putting my foundation and color cosmetics on in the morning and by lunch time - you couldn't even tell that I had anything on because it just slid off during those few hours.)
Within 6 months of starting my business, we moved back to Texas. Mabank is where we ended up. Shortly after that we moved to the Dallas area. We have moved numerous times during my Mary Kay career.
This career is everything that I have been praying for and much more! My dream is to help other women attain their "little girl" dreams. All you have to do is believe in yourself. If you BELEIVE it, you can ACHIEVE it and with God on your side, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to!!
