Laura's Story
Life
If you don't remember me in high school, you're right.... My family left Clearfield after 7th grade to move near Philadelphia, to take care of my ailing grandfather. After his death that summer, we stayed in the area. I spent a semester at South Brandywine Middle School, then I finished my schooling as a homeschool student in Upattinas Open Community School. (Which is an AWESOME institution.) I graduated in 1995.
Subsequently, I decided that I wanted to be an interior designer, and studied under that major for two years.
In June of 1997, I got married to my teenage sweetheart. We have three beautiful children together: Charlie, Libby, and Kate.
In early 2003, I had outgrown the desire to decorate any home but my own, and returned to my childhood dream of writing and performing. For almost two and a half years now, I have been living that life, which is sometimes a dream and sometimes a nightmare. Either way, it is one hell of a ride....
I have a lot more juicy (if I may say so myself) tales that make up "the story of my life as of today", but to hear them, you are just going to have to email me.....
Even though Cleafield High's class of '97 isn't my actual graduating class, I still remember quite a few of you from Middle School. I'd love to reconnect. AND, if you remember me, please zap me an email....
Also, those of you from Coatesville High (CASH), I DO remember a lot of you from South Brandywine. I'd love to hear from you as well...
Much Love,
Laura

I am reading these questions they have put over this text box to help jump start the imagination.. I guess I'll start by answering some of them n...Expand for more
ow, and add more later when I have time....
Question 1>>>Who was you biggest crush? WELL, Why not get the most embarassing out there first? If you were close to me in school, and perhaps if not, you knew I had a very over-excited sense of boys, So if you are a guy and think I may have "liked" you....you're probably right, at one time I might have. Some noteable crushes....Michael Gormont (the first boy I ever liked...in 1st grade), Justin Martin, Brent Harper, Craig Barton, Justin Ingram, Bobby Hall, Doug Myer, Andy Book, Mike Kobti, and Damon...(I am drawing a blank as to his last name) and of course Clint Robison.... Whew...this is strangely cathartic. By the by, I feel an apology is in order for certain girlfriends past. I bored you with tales of my young obsessions, and subjected you to the ramblings of my all to fertile imagination. Seriously, I am sorry about that...
Question 2>>>What teacher inspired me the most? I'd have to say hands down Mrs. Patty Moyer, my 2nd Grade teacher from Girard Elementary. A very close second is Mr. Bob Love...6th grade Science and Social Studies.
Question 3>>>If I could do it all over again, would I? Hell yes, I'd love to have the chance to be a kid again. AND to do some things differently....
Workplace
My work bio.....this is funny because I have had so very many jobs, from being a cashier at a grocery store to answering phones at a car dealership to selling Avon. I have finally realxed into being an author and freelance writer, musician, songwriter and actor.
I also run a small Amish Taxi Service....now there's a glamourous job. But hey, it supports the art until the art can support me.
