Laura's Story

Life I moved to Kentucky for 27 years but decided to move home...where I was happy for 12 years but then I had this bright idea to move back to Kentucky to be close to my youngest son. Well what was I thinking. I see him once in a while and now I'm stuck in a town where all my old friends are now gone or I cant find them. So here I am in the golden years trying to figure out whats so golden. I do love Kentucky, but there's not much fun driving around sight seeing in ur own. I couldn't wait for Winter so I could enjoy the snow. This Winter, well so far, as it is Feb. we have had no snow. So I have started over yet again and I am working on trying to reinvent my life. I think that I would like to go back to AZ but walking is not too apealing so Ive had to opt for the reinvention process. I will let you know how that goes for me. er dog name Charlie, whats up with our golden years that we allow our animals to rule our lives. The love of my life is my little lap dog named April. She rules. When I havent enough money to get my hair done, she gets hers done. Whats up with that? I hate to leave the house and leave her alone so I take her with when I can. I have found leaving her in the car whild I run in, if only for seconds, she thinks she can drive. I came out one day and she had unlocked the car, rolled the windows down and turned on the emergency blinkers. As you can imagine she now goes into a crate when I leave the car. It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to turn off the emergency blinkers which she figured out how to turn on in 5. But she is always there for me and she loves me unconditionally even when I feel like a brat. So its ok, we'll rulem together. Some how I will find myself again and we'll have to see where that will be.
