Laura's Story
Life
In high school, I was somewhat of an outsider, and I didn't hang around very many people. In the Army, I tried to escape some of my personal baggage, and it only helped to suppress what stayed inside me. I met some good friends while I was in the service, but I've lost contact with all of them. After I left the military, it took me a little over a year before I finally did what had to be done to be happy with myself... after all, one of my philosophy's is "You can't make someone else happy, if you're not happy with yourself."
School

t all that has changed now. You could say that I'm a butterfly who was a caterpillar earlier in life. I wasn't into a lot of things that probably would've been fun. I'm just glad that it didn't keep me from getting on with my life!
College
I've had some ups and downs since college. I was making good money, the company I worked for was going great and growing, but personality conflicts between our bosses and the parent company ended up in our company being closed. I was unemployed for a while, but now I have a great job. It's not as much money, but it's very rewarding, and I love my job!
