Laura's Story
Life
After high school I attended Mountain View College and UNT. I graduated from UNT with a BA in Spanish in Dec. of 2000. I was a substitute teacher at Henderson Elem. for 1 1/2 years and decided I love teaching. I went through the Alternative Certification program in DISD and am now a certified teacher. I taught 2nd grade for a year and 3rd grade for 2 years at L.O. Donald in Oak Cliff, 3rd grade for one year, Kindergarten for 5 years, and Pre-K for one year at L....Expand for more

I got married in December of 2004 to Noe, the most wonderful man, who I met teaching at L. O. Donald. Because we worked together, I had to go to a new school so now I work at L. K. Hall. I loved working at Donald, but it is totally worth it! I now teach Pre-K at L.K. Hall. My life has turned out awesome and I couldn't be happier! :)
Noe and I welcomed our son, Gabriel in 2006 and son, Sebastian in 2009. Life just keeps getting better and better!!
