Laura's Story

Life After finishing up at Auburn (War Eagle!!) I moved back to Huntsville for about a year. Then, in August of 1992 I moved to the DC suburbs. I've moved all around the 'burbs of DC for a few years before settling in Springfield, VA. I met and married Mark Jordan who was a Navy Lieutenant when I met him but separated from the Navy before we were married in 1999. We have three daughters: Abigail (6), Melanie (3), and Leah (2 months) and they are a source of constant pride and joy for us. We love being parents - and I never thought I would! er in a company that specializes in Biometric Security consulting. I'm home now with our girls but occassionally do some part-time recruiting work for my former bosses. I was a technical recruiter before deciding to stay home with our kids. We make it home to Huntsville once or twice a year - my mom and twin sister, Lisa (and her family) still live there. My brother, Christian, lives with his wife in Atlanta, though it's been awhile since we've been there. The family is doing well and are usually very happy. I hope the same for all of you!
