Laura's Story
Life
Hmmmm, let me try to sum things up in this fairly brief paragraph :-). I am very happily married to the love of my life, Mike, and we have three amazing kids - Caitlin, 19, Hunter 17, and Cole, 6. We are so proud of them! Caitlin is starting her Sophomore year at WVU - Go Mountaineers!!! We are so proud of her!!! How crazy to think that I have a "child" in college :-O! How is that even possible? -- I swear I am not that old! It was hard to leave her there last Fall, that's for sure, and it's felt so strange here at home with her gone, but she loves it so it's all good :-D. My boys are in school here in Jefferson County - Hunter will be a Senior this Fall at Washington H.S. (home of the Patriots!), and Cole is going to be in 1st grade at South Jefferson Elementary. Hunter loves going to school because he gets to socialize, and Cole is taking his time adjusting to going to school. He does well and says he likes going to school, but he's still a little shy and takes his time warming up to the teachers.
We built our house in Kearneysville, WV, in 2005 and love living out here in the "boonies"! Mike is almost done with his Computer Networking degree, and I have been working as an RN since 19...Expand for more
94. I currently work at Loudoun Hospital in Labor & Delivery. Our family loves to travel and do all kinds of fun things as much as possible! We love going to Renaissance Faires; vacationing to Salem, MA, at Samhain/Halloween; taking Ghost Hunting Trips/Tours; and traveling wherever else & whenever we can :-D. Our favorite destinations are Ireland, Scotland, and Salem, MA. We've been to Ireland twice and can't wait to go again! What a breathtakingly beautiful & extremely friendly country! We love to explore new places but also love visiting our favorites places over and over again (we can't get enough of Salem!). Mike and I went Scotland in March, 2007, and it was our first time there and our first trip without the kids. It is an absolutely beautiful country! We saw so many gorgeous sights around Scotland, and we absolutely loved Edinburgh!!! We don't usually like big cities, but Edinburgh was gorgeous, captivating, and inviting, and we'd love to go there again some day. I've also been to London, Montreal, and The Bahamas, as well as many states in the U.S.
Life since H.S. has been so great - a truly wonderful 23 years - and I hope it continues to be so :-D - what more is there to say?!!!
