Laure's Story
Life
I graduated in 71 & moved to Texas. I went to Central High for my freshman year and my senior year only. Sophomore & Junior years I went to Valley School for Girls in Tucson, Az. and at the end of my junior year, I was invited to leave along with my three other trouble-making cohorts, after being discovered skinny dipping in the school pool by the headmaster showing a group of prospective parents and girls the school ground. I met and married my husband in Houston and lived there for about 10 years before we relocated to Portland, Oregon. I've lived here for 40 + years now. I have 2 daughters and 3 grandkids that I spend a lot of time with. The husband and I divorced 20+ years ago but have remained friends.

structural engineering would mean anything to me in high school but that just goes to tell you, that you never know what the next day or decade will bring about.
Otis Earl, my 11-year-old English bulldog is my constant companion. After 20 years without a dog, I've discovered that I'm more of a dog person than I ever thought I was. Or maybe, I'm really just an Otis person since I seem to be so partial to him.
Update: 1/21, I'm retired and I now have a 2-year-old great-grandson that is the sweetest thing ever. Otis died in 2017 at age 13 and one week later we adopted Lloyd. He was 2.5 years old at adoption and is very sweet and loving indoors. He is fear aggressive to other dogs, though, so there's been a lot of behavioral training for him and us. We're living out the pandemic and staying out of trouble as much as we can. :)
