Laure's Story
Life
I have been married to the same man for 29 years. I have every thing I have ever wanted. A house, a husband who takes care of me. A daughter that is 28. A granddaughter that is 17 Help raise alot of kids. Some who are now in prsion some doing great. Lucy is almost 19 ,Liz is 17 and drivng. Roni I havent seen in years but her Mom works with hubby and she is now13 into dance and singing. I have a step granddaughter that is 17. My daughter cant have any. Katie moved out of Mason county. Lives with her boyfriend. Hard to belive they have been together over 4 years. She got clean and sober after her boyfriend that she had before this 1 died. We all miss Robert. Her new guy is closer to my age then hers. But as long as they love each other and he can handle her that is fine. I have been real sick for a couple years. Learn to live with it. When I need a pick me up I go see my brother Pete sing and talk to his wife. Live in the boondocks. Love it. Miss my Mom who died almost 11 years ago. dog). Hubby still works at P.S.N.S.. 30 years now. But I am happy and contant. Also you all that are stopping by, my husband Mike Hailey now Shortridge went to Davis High. My Uncle Bob Curtiss went to West High that is why Im on that list. My daughter grew up in Mason county. So if you stop by I will tell them all you said hi. Lost Uncle Bob Curtiss on Dec. 13 of last year. We found him in his garage. He was so young . Only 60. So happy I was the last to talk to him and have a safety meeting with him. My Mom came and took him with her. My Mom has passed. I realy miss my best friend. Katie got her first tatto in memorey of Uncle Bob.
School
Good old Counterbalance. Kabush and Brubaker. What a school. Didnt have a crush on anyone but Bru.. Taught me to be a realest instead of a romantic. J.L.Daisy is alive and living in Paradise. Had a hard roll to haul. Kinda got there. Went through alot in my 20s. 30s were worse. Then I met a great man that has been a friend forever.
I always wanted to be a housewife when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
