Laurel's Story
Life
Let's see...after graduating, I went to Tri-c for awhile...it didn't work out. I got married in November of 98, and got divorced October of 99. I worked for awhile, stayed with my parents. In May of 2001, after an apartment arrangemnet with a friend didn't work out, I let another friend talk me into going with her to Texas. In March of 2002. I was introduced to my husband. We had a baby girl June 2003, and were married November 2003. In July 2007, we had a baby boy, and later that year we moved back to Ohio.
School
Middle school...yeah *there's* some fond memories. So much for that "love thy neighbor" stuff. I mean really, would it have been so hard to be nice to the already traumat...Expand for more
ized newbie? All I wanted were people who were going to be nice to me for a change, who thought I was nice. Sorry if being shy and fat, and just flat out different offended any of you... so how is your integration into the real world going?
High school...what can I say? I wasn't cool, I wasn't a complete dork. I had friends, but I apparently wasn't date material. I fit no category, but I had traits of a lot of them. Guess that's what I get for being a non-conformist.
College
Went to Tri-C for awhile...one semester after I graduated, and another after my divorce. Also tried CSU...just wasn't meant to be at the time. As soon as I can, I'm re-enrolling, somewhere. I want a teaching degree.
