Life
Wow! Is it ever time to update!
I am currently a clinical psychology doctoral fellow at Eastern Michigan University. I have finished all my classes, and am currently seeing clients at our campus clinic for therapy as well as Neuropsychological testing. I also teach Intro Psych to mostly freshman and sophomores! I love it, which I never expected, although it can be trying at times. In addition I am preparing to take qualifying exams, propose my dissertation, and go out on internship-the last stages of the PhD program! Finally!
I'm still married (14 1/2 years now!) to Scott Earls, a great husband, father, and a new partner at an accounting firm in Southfield. Scott and I have two children-a son, 12, and daughter, 10, who are involved in piano (both), (bass-our son) soccer (both), and swimming (both). I sti...Expand for more
ll spend my "free" time driving them to practices, recitals, birthday parties, school functions, soccer games, and swim meets (they're getting ready for the state swim meet in March!), but that's okay...I'm glad they're so involved!
Other than that, life is dull!
Goals for the future include finally graduating from this PhD program and reading something other than scientific journals! I did manage to read fiction over the Christmas holidays, and to get some sleep. Oh well, this craziness, like everything else, will pass, and I don't want it to go too quickly, afterall. Despite the sleep deprivation, these last years have been the best of my life!
As always, I would love to hear from anyone who I was even remotely connected with at good old AW, and I hope life is mostly positive for anyone reading about my life.
