Lauren's Story
Well after I graduated from Dobson I moved to Columbus, Ohio. I am originally from Ohio so I guess you could say that I went back home. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1999 with a B.A. in sociology and political science. Yea, I don't know what I was thinking either. I interned with the Ohio Senate during college and then worked for child support enforcement after graduation. Not for me.... it was horrible really.
I went back to OSU for graduate school and received my M.S. in child development in 2002. Right now I am a child ...Expand for more
development specialist with a non-profit but I have done a lot of different things. I think my favorite was working as a full time nanny for twins.
My husband Aaron and I were married in September 2006. We moved to Tampa Florida over the summer. No kids yet but we hope to start a family soon. I know, I'm not getting any younger....
I actually have fond memories of high school.... some fond memories. I loved being a part of marching band. Football season is still one of my favorite times of the year. Go figure that I married a band geek!
