Lauren's Story
Life
I can hardly believe it's been 6 years since I graduated! Wow, how time goes by...and it won't be long before our 10 year class reunion!!
I have been happily married for almost 4 years now to Justin Disney of Sumter. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering degree, and is an Assistant Plant Manager. I am in school full time pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Marketing (better later than never)! We don't have any children yet, but hope to in the near future. Our hobbies include gardening, being with family & friends, and TRAVELING! If you get a moment, send me a note! I would love to hear from some of my former classmates. Take Care & God Bless!
School
Ok, I had quite a few crushes in high school that I don't feel comfortable revealing! One day, likely at our reunion, I will probably spill it...but I am happily married now, so that what matters!
I had two teachers that inspired me the most; Mrs. Nancy Woodell and Mrs. Sara Burton. Both watched after me and made sure I behaved and didn't have a hard time in school. I will always be grateful to them...and still keep in touch with them now.

ould go back to high school, I would realize that I actually looked pretty good back then (and give my self esteem a boost)...but would still want to be married. I wouldn't go back if I couldn't bring my husband with me (even though he went to Sumter High...and would have been a SENIOR when I was a freshman!). LOL!
There are a lot of memories that I have. Some good and some bad. Some worth sharing, too. There is one that I wish I could replace...I didn't get to go to New York with chorus when I was a freshman. I would give a lot to be able to go back with that group, tour NY and sing at Carnegie Hall. Even though things work out the way they are meant to be, I still have a hard time with that memory (I worked while they enjoyed NY). I guess my parents thought it was too expensive and I was too young. On the other hand, I did get to go to Washington D.C. and sing there. It was pretty awesome!
Anyway, enough memories for now. My life has turned out to be pretty darn good! I plan on it getting a lot better, too. I hope everyone can one day look at their past and remember blessings too. In the meantime, God bless everyone! I wish you all much future happiness.......
