Lauren's Story
Life
Born in San Francisco, moved to South San Francisco in the summer of 1972. Lifelong hobbies include swimming, biking, skating, and photography. Married in 2000 and share a daughter born in 2001. Enjoy traveling and trips to the beach.
School
First attended school in San Francisco during the turbulent 60's and experienced desegregation through redistricting. Moved to the suburbs where I rode the bus to school for four years during the last part of elementary school. nd will always remember Mr. Leblanc at Westborough. High school was conflicted and confused - somewhat of a blur.
Workplace
During high school I worked in retail sales for major department stores. Soon after I was promoted into management. I went on to work as a teller in a large bank and took on many duties. While in college I worked various temporary jobs. After I received my teaching credential I taught sixth grade along with a few other grade levels. Most of my teaching was in the area of math and science. I attained additional training in geology, astronomy, and space science with NASA.
