Lauren 's Story
Life
Hi everyone. Now that our 25th reunion is on the horizon, I figured I'd browse around this website and update my own info. I'm married to a wonderful guy, Dave, and we have three children; Kristen, 19, an SSHS alumnus and Sophomore at the University of Delaware, Timothy, 6, and Connor, 4. I work (predominantly at home) as an independent contractor for an insurance adjusting company in RVC. We moved to Oceanside from my childhood RVC home in the Fall of 2006 and although we miss the neighborhood terribly, we love our new house.
School
My biggest crush...good God...changed too frequently to keep track!
College
I went to Niagara University after our senior year, but was apparently too much of a homebody to go away... I was so, so homesick. I came home after a semester there and finished my As...Expand for more
sociates degree at Nassau. I married my first husband in June of 1987, and had daughter, Kristen, in March of 1989. Her dad and I separated five years after that and later divorced, at which point I decided to complete my degree. I went to New York Institute of Technology while raising Kristen by myself and working two part time jobs. If not for amazing family and friends' support, I don't know how I would've done it. By the time I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2001, I was remarried to the aforementioned wonderful guy, Dave, and was expecting baby #2, Timmy. Two years after that, Connor joined the family. Our daughter is away at school and the boys will both be in school full time as of next month (9/08) and I'll actually be able to work uninterrupted! Maybe back to law school....who knows?
