Lauren's Story

After high school I went to CCA for a year and a half. I pretty much just screwed around. I left for a semester then went to Colorado State-Pueblo for a year. I left because i didn't like the town. i came back to Denver and went to Metro. I graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Criminalistics. In August 2007 I moved to Connecticut to go to grad school. In April of 2009 I will have my Masters in Forensic Science. After graduation I will go where ever I can get a job in my field. Ohhh...I don't know how people will remember me. I changed a lot in high school. It seemed like every week my views and values changed. I hope I am remembered as a good friend and fun loving. I really have two ways to...Expand for more
relax. I like to read novels and work out. I think the most crazy thing that has happened to me is my decision to go back to school and study criminal justice. I had one of those "life changing events" and decided forensics was the way to go. My close friends would probably describe me as shy, but people who don't know me usually think I'm stuck up. The wierdest job I have ever had was the year that i spent interning at the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. i enjoyed it, but I hated it at the same time. If I had to do it all over again I would try harder in high school. I would not blow school off. I think that the thing that will surprise people at the reunion is that I am going into law enforcement and that I have finally tamed the afro!
