Laurence's Story
I started my educational journey in 1970 when I went to Regina Public School in Ottawa's Britannia area. Around 1974 we moved to old Ottawa South on Sunnyside Avenue, where I first went to Hopewell Public school. I was there for 3 school years before transferring to Alta Vista Public school in the late '70s. After graduating Alta Vista, I continued my studies at Glebe Collegiate until I dropped out of school in 1982/83.
After a couple of years doing my own thing, I took time to return to school, this time in Kanata at the Earl of March. I studied here for one...Expand for more
semester before being called into military service, where I remained for several years. At the Earl of March I met my first wife, but it was a short marriage of only 3 years.
If anyone knew me then, know now that that person no longer exists. That is probably a good thing, I have continued becoming a better person and man, married and have two adult children...adults now. Life has been good, but would always welcome reconnecting with early life folks who helped to mold me as I hope I did you at one point.
