Laurie's Story
Life
I went to college in Long Beach, Ca and returned to Roseville in 2001. I married my husband in 1999. We bought a house in Roseville in 2001. We have three little girls, Alyssa, Megan and Kate I am working as a pediatric nurse at UC Davis Med center.
School
The best part about high school was the friendships that I made. My two best friends then, are my two best friends now. Love you guys!!
College
Nursing school was one of the hardest...Expand for more
things I ever did, but definitely worth it. I made some great friends and have a great job working with awesome nurses and the bravest kids ever.
Workplace
I have been a pediatric nurse for five years. I learn something new everyday from the kids I take care of. They have taught be to be truly grateful for what I have.
The best thing about my job is the 12 hr shifts, a couple of times a week, allows me to be home with my kids a lot during the week.
