Life
I am a registerd nurse. Retired from nursing for 2 years. I recently accepted a position as the Health Services Director for a facility that cares for adult mentally challenged. It is a big change and I look forward to it.I look forward to hearing from old friends and classmates. I moved to Iowa after graduating early and went to college to study nursing. In college I met my husband and we have been together since 1975. We married in 1979. We have three kids. Ages 21,17 and 16. Before kids we traveled. We lived in the Chicago area from 1980 until 1994 then moved to Fort Walton Beach Florida. That year we had direct hits from Hurricanes Erin and Opal! y pass surgery last year and I am thrilled to say it has restored my health. No longer bothered by diabetes!!! Life is great. I wonder from time to time about old classmates and after all these years it is very hard to put names to face even in my mind. Graduating early was a good thing for me but I really lost track of everyone fast. I cannot stress enough how happy I am these days having been given a second chance at life.After several years of health problems I am doing well and loving life.
Workplace
Retired from nursing after 28 yr. I took 18 months off and took a part time job selling clothing at Chicos. It is fun and the discount helps me enjoy my true passion clothes shopping! 2/08- as noted above I returned to nursing in administration!
