Laurie's Story
Life
Even though I grew up in a rural area I never considered myself a small town girl. Now, eighteen years after graduating from Shepherd that is exactly what I have turned out to be.
I seriously considered entering the convent after graduation from high school and again while I was in college, but I decided that I wanted to have a family of my own. Not long after I made my decision not to enter the convent I became re-acquainted with a former classmate, Wyatt Wiltse. In 2000 we became engaged and I switched from a pre-med program to nursing so I could finish school sooner and we could start our family. ng proofs from the photographer. Hadrian Alexander was born February 25, 2004 and we welcomed our second son, William Johann, on September 6, 2005. Emma Katherine Wiltse was born on August 24, 2008 and we welcomed Riley Ann Wiltse on July 17, 2012.
I currently work as a registered nurse on a Medical/Surgical floor at a local hospital. Wyatt is a graphic designer with his bachelor's from CMU and a certificate in 3D animation from the Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, British Columbia. He works as a designer at a local printing company. We live in Grandpa and Grandma Wiltse's farmhouse in Shepherd and we share it with our collie Einstein. Our sons are the 4th generation of Wiltses to live in the house and they will be the 4th generation to attend Shepherd Schools.
