Lawrence's Story
June 1965.....June 1969 US Navy (attached to the mud Marines in 1966) Spent the rest of the time uneventfully stationed at NAS Key West,Fla as a helicopter mechanic and air crewman.
Lived in Miami, Fla from June 1969-Sept 1970.
Returned to West Virginia in Sept 1970...worked in and around the coal mines til 1974. Associates degree from Beckley College in 1972.
Got into radio in 1975 and also started selling insurance. Worked in radio in Beckley til 1980 while also starting an insurance agency.

1998. I had to give it up because of open heart surgery.
In 1999 went back to school in Charlotte learned digital audio and video editing and got certified as a computer repair technician.
Worked for several years at WBT-AM -WLNK 107.9 FM Charlotte as a producer and audio editor...also did computer repair business.
Just recently retired from radio at WBT.
I am currently living in Prosperity,WV repairing computers and doing free lance audio and video.
Divorced 9 years....one son (grown)
