Lawrence's Story

Life Have had a very exciting and rewarding life! Have owned and operated a number of successful business adventures. In mid thirties went through SIU pre med classes and ultimately received a doctorate as a chiropractic physician. Practiced chiropractic from 1979 to present. Have essentially retired. The 'ole entrepeneur spirit apparently still smoldering as am presently starting another business - once again relating to the trucking industry as in my younger years. It is "pretty neat" to have others do the physical everyday work and receive a steady income from the efforts of administrative work. Personally: Have had better than excellent health for which I am very greatful! Have an excellent home life! Have -4- children that I am very proud of-and three grand ch...Expand for more
ildren. * Am presently writing a book that will hold a lot of surprises for anyone that reads it - entitled "The U.S. Fedstapos". The book is at the publishers as this is being written and will be in your favorite book store by the fall of 2004 - (before the holidays). Not in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought that I would be writing a bio for "classmates" - but here it is for what it is worth. Military Entered the US Navy as a reservist Airman Apprentice located at Lambert Air Field-St. Louis. The entire Lambert Division was activated due to the Lebanon crisis of 1957. Became a "90-day wonder". Retired from active duty as a Lieutenant 1st Class in 1963 bilited aboard the aircraft carrier USS Valley Forge (now decommissioned). Life at sea was not for me.
