Lawrence's Story

End of 2022 update: What a year...WHS Class Reunion was an event to remember! Reuniting with so many friends and classmates I now know better than when we were in school together! In 2021, retired from my last full-time University academic position teaching in Pharmacy, Medical and Nursing colleges. More free time but have already failed retirement. Consulting, reviewing manuscripts for a number of journals and teaching a little here and there. Sad to say we lost one of my Labs to lymphoma, but otherwise, everyone is doing well. Let's see...still play drums and enjoy all kinds of music...married, no kids (but lots of nieces and nephews)...two great Yellow labs (Buddy and Calvin)...UCLA BA Biology/Psychology; USC PharmD and Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency (Board Certified)...have been involved in psychiatry/neurology for most of my career; recently retired from full-time academic posts. Still serving as a consultant/advisor for healthcare entities, regulatory work and some legal work...still running marathons and into cycling, sailing, skiing, racquetball; moved from Fort Worth, TX area to Edmond, OK, but miss the Pacific Northwest and SoCal! As I said, life is good! College BA at UCLA in Biology (Ethology AKA Behavior of Animals); Doctorate of Pharmacy from USC and Residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy L.A. County/USC Medical Center.
