Leah's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family thought that was an unrealistic idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.. I don't teach in school as I'd hoped but I do teach Sunday School. Teenagers are my passion.
Probably the worse thing I ever did at John Gorrie JR High was go across the street to the Drug Store once. My Mom found out and gave me hell for it. OOOOO I was so bad!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Robert Bryan, because it ended so quickly!. Are you out there Robert?
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now were ready for the grave. I was so completely wrong. I love life to the fullest. I don't realize I'm 58 until I pass a mirror and wonder "Who is that old woman!?"
My first crush, Terry Reid, moved to NC and I never saw him again. That was in 5th grade. Mrs. Krupka was my favorite teacher!
The weirdest job I ever had was digging wax out of peoples ears. OMG what an odor!!!

My oldest friend passed away 2 years ago. At 25 years old she taught me, I was very innocent, everything about stuff I had never ever tried or even heard of. We stayed life-long friends and grew out of our bad habits. I miss her much!
I have 13 grandchildren ages 4 months to 18 years old. I love them all dearly. I'm a much better grandmother than I was as a mama.

My big sister and I used to play dress up. She was always Debbie Reynolds. She named me Miss Barlow. I never had a first name and she said my boyfriend had to be Chester on Gun Smoke. Of course her boyfriend was Marshal Matt Dillon. Funny memories.
