Leah's Story
Leah is from Seattle, Washington. Leah's schools include Chandlersville High School. I spent time in Phoenix, AZ, Clarkdale, AZ, then Beaumont, CA, moving on to Seattle, WA in 10/11. Still here with Moses. I did work in the Seattle School District, retiring in 1975 as Kitchen Mgr. at Green Lake Elementary. They threw me and 2 others a magnificent party.
Note: I was born Georgia Lee Johnson, but changed my name in 1992. We came back for the 50th HS reunion to CHS and had a wonderful time. I could not make it this year because Moses is now on dialysis 3 times a week...and I could not leave him. He just finished his 2nd year on Oct. 12, doing pretty well. It has changed our lives, but we do what we have to do. ...Expand for more
Yet, we are blessed in many ways. We have a new church home on Beacon Hill that we love very much.
My niece, Haley, is now living in Portland, OR (since August) and we plan to get together this month. She was in Chicago and transferred there. The rest of my family (Rhonda, Cynthia) in Columbus/Dublin and Linda is in Cincinnati.
All the grandkids doing great and have 2 great-grand boys in Ohio also. Hopefully someday soon, I can get back there to visit as I do miss them.
I would love also to be able to visit with my classmates and other friends in Ohio. I just keep saying someday!!
Other than that...just getting older, but still kicking. However, my birth date is: June 27 not August 15.
