Leah's Story
Life
I just got married May 10,2004 to Juan Carlos Escobedo, an aerospace engineer for Eclipse Aviation.
We were married on Maui and spent our honeymoon in Australia. I am still a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines based in Chicago.
2008- Still married, had a baby boy in March. I'm on maternity leave now, but I'm still a flight attendant for Southwest based in Las Vegas.
After leaving Selby Lane and Henry Ford and moving to NM, I went to Cleveland Middle School in Albuquerque, then Sandia High School graduating in 1991. r had! I went to the University of Florida for 2 years and then came back to Albuquerque and finished at UNM with a B.A. in Languages. After that I went to graduate school in Jerusalem, Israel at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for International Relations/Middle Eastern Politics 1996-1997 Visiting Graduate Student program. While I was there I realized I couldn't solve the problems of the Middle East and decided I just wanted to travel. I started with Southwest Airlines in 1998 as a flight attendant and just went to my 10 year party in Dallas in June. I was based in Chicago for almost 10 years until a base was opened in Las Vegas. I live in Albuquerque with my husband and son.
