Leann's Story
Drama was a favorite; I absolutely loved that class. Faded/hazy memories of a Grease production? Or at least the rehearsals. Also enjoyed Economics and Law.
I also remember a nightmare of a graduation party (for me, nice party otherwise) to which I brought a horrible blind date but wore the same dress (unfortunately) as the hostess. I can't even remember her name now. Tina? Fey?
I also remember being extremely ill before the actual graduation ceremony, so never got my gown. My parents had arranged with someone to have it ready there. Upon arrival nobody could find it, or the person responsible for it, so...Expand for more
I was given a fresh-out-of-the wrapper extremely wrinkled one and nobody could find an iron. It was one of the most humiliating/embarrassing moments of my teen years. To this day, I tend to err on the side of over preparing for events.
I've often wondered what happened to Colin Cameron, the lively debater, Karen from drama, and the coolest guy in school whose name I don't even recall- I remember thinking it so cool that he was reading Through the Looking Glass and always in general being a deep thinker/philosopher type...funny how some people make such lasting impressions even if we don't know them well.
