Leann's Story
Life
I have (finally) settled and put down some roots in Jacksonville, FL as of 2000. My first marriage to Len Bunch & the U.S. Navy took me all around the country between 1987-2000. From that marriage, I have two wonderful children both of whom live with me full-time. Carrie is 17 and a recent graduate from Sandalwood High School. She will attend Univ. of North Florida in the fall. William is 13 and a rising 7th grader. Our family enjoys Boy Scouts and entertaining by our swimming pool during the warm weather.
School
I loved my years at Campbell High School. I only wish I had played more and been less serious about everything. My favorite teachers were: Coach Alan Hogan and Ms. Rilee and Ms. McCord ...wow, they were all English teachers.
The best experience I had in high school was speaking at graduation and living through it. I'll never forget looking out at all those people in the stadium. SCARY stuff!
I hate it that Campbell is no more...it only lives on in the hearts and memories of a...Expand for more

College
I graduated from Andrew College with an A.S. in Psychology in 1986. Fast forward to 1993...married with two children, I returned to school and completed my bachelor's degree at Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois. The Navy moved our family to Tallahassee, FL in 1995 and I enrolled and completed my Master's degree at Florida A&M University in Counselor Education in 1998. I was 30 when I finished my bachelor's degree and 32 when I got the masters. Nothing is impossible!
Workplace
I've had many jobs in the past 21 years. Mainly, I've worked in the field of education doing everything from being a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, middle school teacher, volunteer PTA president, and now an Elementary School Guidance Counselor. I recently achieved National Board of Certified Teachers certification in School Counseling and was named Duval County Public Schools "Counselor of the Year". I have just finished my 5th year as a school counselor in Jacksonville.
