Lee's Story

Life Hello, Welcome to my bio. For starters turned 47 on Aug 25th. I've been married and divorced twice. I've been working now for 29 years as of last sept and work currently for Pitney Bowes. I am into my 5th so far with Pitney Bowes. To date I have not missed any class reunions I've been to all 4 so far. I decided to scrap the old bio and start fresh with a all new one. After all Yorktown is my school too and I should be proud of being a part of it's history. You could actually say that I'm now living my third life as I've been through so much in my 45 years gracing this earth. I could not belive at the 25 year reunion how many people remembered me since I was really never Mr. popular as opposed to those who took classes with me. I hear we are supposed to have a 30yr reunion in 2009 would anyone from the class of 79 care to confirm this. OK Now! As far as I'm concerned I tried to have a good time at the 25yr reunion last year but in the midst of the reunion my life was being turned upside down 2004 it was a nightmare that is why I have this new bio......Also the reason I had not updated my bio in almost 2 years. I'm currently involved in The Special Olympics as a athlete......I only bowl....I could become active in other sports but I need to be aware of the physical pounding my body would take. I have won 9 gold medals 6 silver medals and one bronze medal in state competition 14 first place ribbons in what will start my 13...Expand for more
th season in The Special Olympics although I have not competed at the national level(one day I will)I would like to see hw I compair to some of the best bowlers in the country if not the world. Of course I still bowl in leagues as I have been doing so for my 31st season in bowling leagues. My first 200 was in the yorktown high school bowling league......a 217 if I recall at Bowl America Pla-Mor Lanes. I finally found someone who loves bowling and sports as much as I do so I went to Queen of Apostiles Chatolic Church and married her. That's always been a issue and a stumbling block you have to have a common intrest to make a relationship work...Also communication helps too. I one thing the I really feel bad about is all of those that I took classes with would not attend any reunions......I know why they won't go......for the same reasons why I do go. I've gone to all of my reunions because I did not want to be sterio typed and I wish all of those who I took classes with would join me at the next reunion. This is not a request this is a challenge ! Rock and Roll Greats,Great Sporting Events and Famous Figures. I've seen and experienced alot in my life. I could list them all but if there is another section where I can do that I'm sure that would be prefered. Anyway,This is my bio for 2007......til next time......chao! I will see you all at the 30 years reunion......I guess that is a confirmation isn't it.
