I'm living in Birmingham with my wife Amanda (REL Class of 70). Our son Joe and daughter Adrian have both graduated from college and are living in L.A. Joe is a writer/film-maker, and Adrian is an actress/director.

I have been doing a great deal of planning for the post-petroleum era, when the "triple threat" of peak oil, catastrophic climate change, and overpopulation require all of us to make some brutal adjustments to our lifestyle.
