a good book and listening to music, cooking and eating :). I love my family and try to spend as much time as I can w/ them. I love this country, and everything it stands for. Proud of my service, I am. I continue this through my little brother, who is currently serving his second tour in Iraq. Like a lot of families whose son or daughter is serving in our Armed Forces, it makes life tough, especially during holidays. But I'm proud of him. He is a "real American hero".
I love life and all the mysteries behind it. Serving six years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Jacksonville (SSN-699), a fast attack submarine, out of Norfolk, Va., I was able to see a lot of the world. Norway, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Scotland, the Isle of Gibralter, and many other lands upon which I set foot. I love to travel. History is like a drug for me, I can't absorb enough. I've stood in the Coliseum in Rome, marveled at the works in the Louvre, visited the graves of Proust, Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde, climbed to the peak of the rock of Gibraltar and swam in the crystal clear seas of the Mediterranean. Life's been an awesome journey. I've been privy to meeting a host of interesting folks as well.
