Life Reading this Bio could only mean you've run out of things to do to entertain yourself, short of watching the grass grow but, if you're really interested...here goes. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and joined the Marine Corps right after graduation from John Marshall H.S. (which both amused and appalled my former PhysEd teacher). From Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC to Basic Electronics at Marine Corps Base 29 Palms, CA (where i "tubed out" when the powers-that-be determined that I was "decreasing at an increasing rate"). Camp Pendleton, CA and artillery, here I come! After a couple of years paying my dues as a Radio Operator I'd gotten smart enough to get an Instructor job to teach the next flock of Field Radio Operators for the 1st Marine Division. Deciding to expand my horizons, the Marine Corps promoted me and sent me off to the nearest Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, CA. Already having a surplus of radio operators in the air support squadron, I got the additional duty of "Career Planner" that, apparently, I did too well and got run off to Recruiter School. With my lack of foresight, I passed the course and landed in Ashland, KY. Nice people, lousy job but I gave it my best shot and was rewarded with an all expense paid trip to the 3rd Marine Division's Division Schools at Camp Hanson, Okinawa, Japan with another Instructor job. After a year in Japan, I was dragged to Kadena Air Base kicking and screaming...they MADE me come back!
