Lee's Story
Well I've been very happily married for 26 years, my wife and I have three great kids and two beautiful grand kids. I retired from NYSDOCCS in November of 2014 as a Correction Officer with over 25 years of service, while in service for the State of New York I did 10 years of service in the New York Army National Guard as a M60A3/M1A1 armor crewman. Last year my wife and I went to Ireland for our 25th wedding anniversary for an amazing 8 day tour, what a beautiful country it was AMAZING!!!!! in Ireland and they look just like the postcards! Since being retired in April of this year (2016) I had spinal surgery done as I had 2 bone spurs that were bulging two of my discs in my lower back (L4 and L5), and I was very limited as to what I could do and was on heavy pain meds and muscle relaxers too. As of right now I haven't had any type of pain meds since the beginning of June and I feel about 500 percent better that before my surgery.
