Leesa's Story

Life has been pretty drama-free since leaving Cortez. Went to college on and off after graduating. Met my husband Robert while working as a waitress at Sam's Cafe in central Phoenix in 1990 and married in 1991. I only had to wait tables for about a month to realize it was not the job for me! Got a husband out of it though - and a new respect for tipping well. We had our first son, Gaston December 1992 and then had our second, Bentley December 1994. They are awesome kids and I'm enjoying their teenage years even more than when they were little. I began working at Discover Card in Phoenix in 1993 and I have be...Expand for more
en there ever since. Not my ideal job, but I'm kind of "locked in" at this point. We purchased our home in northwest Peoria in 2005 and love living out here. I love decorating the place and spend most of my time and money doing so. I also spend my time watching TV (I'm a bit addicted to my Tivo), cooking, going to movies/concerts, and going out to eat. I also love to travel, but hate to fly so I don't do it as much as I would like. I still stay in touch with a couple of people from Cortez and my bff from high school is still my bff today. See, pretty drama-free huh? I prefer that and hope to keep it that way!
