Leigh Ann Stammreich's Story

Life Update:05-16-07 Scott and I had our baby boy (Rylan) on Feb. 3, 2008. He is beautiful and I never knew how much love my heart could hold before having him. Rylan completely fills our hearts with genuine love. Man...it all sounds corny, but it is true. I have/had some post-pardom depression, but I work on it everyday so that I can spend as much time as I can with my baby Rylan. I love him so so much. Being a mom is hard and, yes, ever since having Rylan, I have thanked my mom over and over again for being my mom...hee hee! Update: 08-14-07 Scott and I are doing great...WE ARE PREGNANT!!! 12 weeks this past Saturday! We're SO excited. Our ultrasound last Thurs. showed a very healthy little baby! (see pic!). WOW...so much to do, so much to think about...weee-haaaaaa! Oh, also, Scott started at Quantum yesterday! YAY! I'm still the Mkting Dir. over at Action! And Rifkin is still our happy, cute & curly little pup. I hope all is going great for you!!! ;) Update: 02-22-07 Scott and I are doing great. I am working as a Marketing Director and Scott is working to find his next career. He may even become a teacher...he would be excellent as a teacher I think. Anyway, Rifkin is fully grown in size, but not in personality...he is still a little snuggler. It is snowboard season again and Scott and I just got back from finishing our 8th day this season in Mammoth. The last day we were there, we stayed with George Matthews and some of his relatives visiting from England. They were fun to hang out with. Update: 10-26-06 Scott and I had our 1 year anniversary on October 8th of this year...and everything is going great. "They" say the first year is the hardest in marriage and it was hard getting to an even deeper level of understanding each other. We have a great relationship and I think it will survive the battles that life throws our way. Rifkin is full grown and just the sweetest little stinker we know. We are currently fixing up our condo (painting, fixtures, etc.) and getting ready for the holidays as well. We may look at more houses as the $$$ go down, but we'll see. We would love to have our own backya...Expand for more
rd to BBQ in, but the deck is fine for now. Bye Bye for now... Update: 03-04-05 Scott and I got a new 3 month old puppy last week. We named him, "Rifkin Von Kurl"..."Rifkin" for short. After high school: O.C.C. in Orange County for 2 yrs. U.C.S.B. for my last 2 yrs of college I stayed in Santa Barbara for another 3 yrs and got into the computer/internet world. I worked at Ingram Micro Newport Beach for 3 yrs. Then Wyle Systems/Arrow Electronics for about 3 years. I bought a house in Costa Mesa in 2000. I met my husband (Scott Brown) at a charity event in Newport Beach August 2000 (Not to mention we knew "of" each other in High School...He is class of '89). In Aug./Sept. of '02, we went backpacking around South America together for about 9 weeks...(he has been all over the world, except Asia). When we came back, I worked as a Marketing/Sales Dir. at Almich & Associates. In May 2004, we bought a Suburban and an Airstream trailer so we can travel around CA. Scoots and I got married October 8, 2005, in Mammoth, CA :D We snowboard, camp and love spending time together. Amy (my little sis) got married August 2004...to Urs Baertschi (from Switzerland). She is a nutritionist in San Francisco. John (my big bro) is an engineer at Northrup Grumand and married to Andrea Neison. May 2004, they had the first Stammreich grandkid (Annemarie). My parents are doing great...they live back in Palos Verdes in a new house (the old one's a rental now). School Wow...I remember some cool people, team sports, trying to skip class here and there, weekend parties. I would not go back and do it all again though...even if I could go back "with all that I know now." I don't think I would be able to stand going back to being an insecure little a-hole that has to deal with a bunch of other insecure little a-holes on a daily basis...once is enough. ;D BUT, like everyone, I would go back if I could somehow buy shares of Microsoft, Starbucks and/or beany babies. Most inspiring teacher/adult: MR. BOWLES. Least inspiring...that Economics teacher with the bad accent (forgot his name, but what a tool)...ha ha hee hee!
