Life:
I've added some photos, go check them out.
Here's a part of my life story I want to share:
What's the weirdest job you ever had?
I was a Watchman Security Guard at NSTERSTATE FORGE, the forging factory behind the McDonald's on 27th & Capitol from February 1994 until October 1994 as a Watchman Security Guard I didn't carry a firearm I carried a flashlight. Just imagine, me a Security Guard all 4'4" of me. During that time I'd been back in school at UWM Milwaukee for a year and finished up my studies to get my bachelor of Arts degree in Community Education after being out of school for 13 years.
2/11/2009 Life Story update..
On December 5, 2008 I went into Aurora Sinai Hospital to have my right knee replaced and boy this journey is long and arduous. My left knee will have to be done sometime in the future. As of right now with all that I've been through and is still going through I don't want to do it.
5/11/2009 Life Story Update...
my knee is still on the mend. I went through a lot having my knee replaced. I've heard stories from other people who have had the same procedure done and they are almost identical especially the healing part of it. I'm told it will be 2-5 years before I can feel fully functional but I'm moving at a steady pace now. I follow my Physical Therapists instructions by doing what's necessary to reach "FUNCTIONAL". I've been walking without my cane for some time now b...Expand for more
ut steps, curbs, inclines can be a little difficult. My husband has been a tremendous help to me through all of this. He's right by my side on this journey. He was especially helpful when I had to go through the ordeal with the very strong antibiotics that were prescribed for me because of an infection in my right knee that caused the breakdown of my digestive system. The doctor had a "PIK" line put into my left arm so the home health nurse and he could pump them into me. It was a horrible experience. I was sick for weeks behind that, I lost 16 lbs because I could not eat and nothing substantial would stay down. I drank a lot of water, ate a lot of Cream of Wheat, crackers, milk, toast, yogurt and mashed potatoes. I never want to go through that again. I went to the dentist on Wednesday 5/20/09 for my routine cleaning and the hygenist found a broken tooth, in fact it's the only tooth that's left on the left side of my mouth. I could have them pull it out or have a root canal and a crown put on it to save it. I opted for the latter. So now I have that journey to walk through. Well God has brought me this far he won't leave me now. I can do this with his help also.
