Len's Story
Life
I joined the military in 1970 and am still in. I changed jobs once from the Infantry to a Traffic Technician.
In 1976 I married Diane Lauzon from Pembroke, Ontario and we have two boys.
My oldest boy is 28 and has graduated from the Royal Military College. He flies helicopters and is posted to Cold Lake, Alberta.
My youngest son is 23 and he went to the University of Guelph for two years and then applied to RMC and was accepted in 2004. He will graduate from there in 2008 with a Science Degree. ...Expand for more
I have lived in quite a few places during my time with the military. I started out in Gagetown, N.B and then went to Petawawa, Ontario. After that we went to Germany (a real great place to live). I came back to Canada in 1980 and went to Edmonton, Ab. In 1984 I went to Greenwood, N.S. and then off to Shilo, Mb.in 1990. Then in 1994 they sent us to Toronto, On. where we stayed for the next ten years. We now live and own a home in Trenton, Ontario. I will be retiring in Pembroke, Ontario in a couple of years
