Rev. Dr. Leon's Story
Life
I graduated from WHSin 1980 and served 6 years in the US Army in the US and Europe. I did missionary work overseas too.
I graduated from Miami-Dade Community College in 1986 with an AS in Mortuary Science, then obtained an AA in 1987. I married in 1985 and have two daughters from that marriage. Both girls are grown one is married the other is in college. I was divorced in 1991 then remarried in 1992, my wife's name is Joan and we have been married 16 years. a licensed insurance agent, and a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and ordained minister. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Religion in May 2008.
I currently am currently the senior Pastor of Mainstreet Christian Church in Oakland Park, Florida and working on my second Masters Degree and plan to enter the doctoral program at Knox Theological Seminary. I play keyboards and bass guitar in our church praise band. I completed my Master of Divinity May 14, 2010 and start my doctorate in July 2010.
I miss flying but enjoy being a Pastor and teacher.
