Abdullahi's Story
Life
When I graduated from Scott, I was known
as Leonard Sneed. Since graduating from Scott High School, my legal name is Abdullahi (Slave or Servant of God) Ibrahim (from the lineage of Abraham) Bin-Yahya (son of John).
I graduated from the University of Toledo
with a Bachelor of Education degree. I
studied at the California State University at
Dominguez Hills earning a Masters
of Fine Arts degree in Behavioral
Science.

e July, 2004, I was
a social science teacher with
one of the southern California school
districts. In 2004, I retired and returned to Toledo.
In 1964 I joined the OAAU (Organization of Afro American Unity)
founded by the late Malcolm X. After his
assassination in 1965, (I was present and helped capture one of the assassins.) I
traveled to Cairo, Egypt to become a
student at the Institute of Islamic
Studies at the University of Al-Azhar.
