Leonardo's Story
Life
After dating for over four years, I got married April 4, 2003, to the former Ms. Sonya L. Wilson. On December 6, 2003, we welcomed the second addition to our family, Jolie C. L. Rodriguez. Our son Ivan L. B. Rodriguez was happy to be a big brother. Being a father and husband have been my happiest time in my life to this point.
Military
Went to Marine Corps Boot Camp on July 17, 1991. Stationed in Okinawa, Japan from February 1992 to 1993. Returned to the United States and was immediately stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC. e familiar with the Marine Corps, and for those who aren't - Irvine, CA and San Diego, CA.) In August 2005, my Marine Corps career has come full circle and I am once again stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. In 2010, I received orders to Marine Forces Reserve, New Orleans, LA. I was stationed there for over 3 years. Again, my Marine Corps career comes full circle and on 10 June 2013 I am back in North Carolina, but this time I am stationed at Financial Management School aboard Camp Johnson. Exactly 3 years later, I started what would be the end of a 25+ year career as I embarked on terminal leave and exited from the Marine Corps. On 31 August 2016, I official retired from the Marine Corps.
