Lerenda's Story

Life I am married, have a daughter, and 3 grandsons. We live on the west coast of sunny Fl. I am blessed with a wonderful life. Well life has thrown me a curve ball. So sad to report my husband passed away on April 24 2011. I miss him terribly. Never thought I would be a widow so young. School My fondest memories are times spent with friends. There is a teacher that had a great impact on my life. Mr Rice 6th grade was my favorite, and I had the chance to thank him many years later. Mr Salisbury Brake Jr. High counselor was also a big influence on me. He encouraged me, and made me believe in myself to go for what I wanted in life. He visited me at my office here in Fl , it was a chance for me to express my gratitude to him. College College- Just the word itself scared me! ol full time. I was a divorced mother at the time. Hard studying, staying focused and knowing the end result kept me going. I was able to graduate with a 3.4 GPA. Not bad for a C student in Jr and Sr high. It is amazing what you can do if you really want to reach a goal. Workplace Well you know that goal I mentioned in the college bio, this is the rest of the story. I have had the most rewarding career as a Registered Medical Assistant. I have been working for the same Dr for over 20 years. I have been able to help people when their needs have been the greatest. I do triage at a very busy nurses station, and deal with critical care illnesses such as cancer. Their care requires patience and dedication. I have also been given supervisor status over the staff. I know the good Lord put me here to carry out what needs to be done!
