At the end of summer vacation in 1975, when school was starting back, many of my classmates with whom I had graduated three months earlier were leaving home and going off to college and the military. ined the U.S. Navy. I signed up for a 4-year enlistment which I did complete.
My military service is all I care to speak of at this time. Perhaps I will share more of my story at a later time.
