Lester's Story
Well, 18 days after we graduated I was at Ft. Knox in Basic Training. I ended up in Hawaii from Jan 76 to Dec 78. Tough job but someone had to do it!!
After that I went to Ft. Sam Houston, Texas for more training then went to Ft. Ord, California till Feb. 81 and I got out.
I came back to Ohio and enrolled at Ohio Northern. It was really weird being around all these "kids" after 6 years in the Army. Unfortunately they doubled the cost of tuition my second year so I quit and went o...Expand for more
n the road. I was a professional light and sound tech for concerts all over the midwest for the next several years.
I was married and had 3 kids, a boy and 2 girls.
Anyways, I'm in sales. I sell commodities primarily.
I am semi retired now on a military disability. I was on the Army track and cross country teams. I really got into marathons. Unfortunately between running 20 miles a day for years and my duties in the Army and working concerts I have really messed up my body.
