Les's Story
Life is never fully planned or controlled. Started a career in retail management when I graduated from McGill. Met and married a beautiful lady that a manager in one of the stores I worked in. Cathi and I were transferred every year to a different community in Ontario by our employer. After 9 years in retail we decided that we needed to settle down so our 2 children could have a normal life and go to the same school. Started a career in Procurement. Happily married for more than 33 years when my beautiful Cathi passed away suddenly in November 2014. I live in a north Toronto suburb, and am fortunate that both of my kids live close by. We have 2 grandchildren, and I see them fairly often.
Thanks to Mr. Ewart and Mr. Baucher, still love history and geography. I enjoy reading, gardening, and travel. Love museums and historical places.
