Hi everyone! I have ties to two different high schools, one in Huntington, on Long Island, NY, and the one I graduated from in Hamden, CT. In Huntington I was a bit of a misfit -- I was at the height of the "awkward age" when I moved there from Minnesota, and the culture shock was pretty amazing! By the time I started to feel at home, I ended up moving to Hamden, CT, in what would have been my senior year. I missed quite a bit of school that year, so in the name of making friends and having time to choose a college, I re-enlisted as a junior. I had, and still have, some dear friends from Hamden '78, including one who I was married to for 12 years! (I don't kiss and tell publicly, so if anyone wants to know, just ask!)
