Leslie's Story
Life
Since leaving Blackfoot in 1979, I first studied at Cal State Fullerton and received a BA in Economics. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Norway and worked for Norsk Data A/S. I met Ole in 1983, and married him in 1986, in Blackfoot! Those Norwegians travelling to Blackfoot really got to see a part of the country that was different from the main tourist attractions. . . We lived in Oslo for 5 years, and moved to Washington, DC in 1989. Our first two children were born in Oslo, our second two in DC. We reside right outside of DC. raduate degrees, one from Georgetown University and one from American University, and am currently a Learning Specialist at an independent school in our area.
We travel to Norway each summer, where we have a small home on an island in the south of Norway. This keeps the children in touch with their Norwegian family members and their culture. They are 18, 17, 15 and 12. My eldest is studying at Stanford, my second son is awaiting news from colleges.
Would love to come to a reunion, but they have been scheduled during the summer months when we are away.
