Leslie's Story
On June 23 I was slit open and had a triple bypass. It was a surprise since I was in the hospital for tests only. They said I was a heart attack waiting to happen.
Life
After High School, I joined the Army and was placed in the Signal Corps. I most of my time at Ft Benning, GA and was discharged May 21, 1964.
I lived in Hollywood/ Ft Lauderdale area for a few years and in 1978 moved from Ft Lauderdale to the Atlanta area in 1978 to work with Minolta Corp. In 1980 I met and married a lively and adventurous "Georgia Peach". We moved to North GA Mountains Summer of 2000. I am semi-retired, not by choice, downsizing. I have a web hosting/design business, and Video Production company as well. theVideoCreator.com I am Currently working on a Moonshine video, check out the trailer on Youtube
In 91 & 92 I went back to college at Shorter, they had a campus in Marietta GA for working people and spend a year an a half in pursuit of my BSBA.

the Winn Dixie/Quik Chek on Dixie Hwy, wish I had that scooter now. Had a Kawasaki 750, Suzuki Marauder 800, Honda 1100,Kawasaki 1600 classic. After I flipped the 1600 I got a Harley, finally... Now I have a 2002 Harley Electra Glide (1450). Touring the US on the bike is a dream of mine, alone or with some friends.
College
When I went to College it was called BJC now it is BCC. I had already been in the Military so I was a bit older than the average student. Some thought I was a NARC, I wasn't. I was 25, had a beard, went to school in sandals. Finished up the last two yrs at Shorter College Adult ed in Georgia.
Military
Joined in 1961 from Hollywood Florida. Got out in 1964. Missed being extended for Vietnam war by 2 weeks. Thank G-d. I was in the 122nd Signal Corp, most of the time. Went to Germany (93rd Armor) for a short stint but spend most of my time at Ft Benning either on Sand Hill or Kelly Hill. I did not like much of it. In retrospect the problems I encountered were mine, not the military. Looking back I wish I would have done things differently.
