Leslie's Story
Okay, here's the tale. After high school, I earned a BA from U of A (Go Cats!). Sorry, I think they implanted a chip while I was there. After college, I rambled around a bit. Tried different jobs and different cities. Where? Phoenix, Tucson, Denver. I returned to Phoenix and that's when things started to shake, so to speak. I married a guy I dated in high school and we had a daughter (I was pregnant with her at my 10 year high school reunion). Then we got divorced. Details omitted intentionally. I don't like speaking poorly of people, even when I think they might deserve it. I escaped to Las Vegas by means of a job transfer. In Vegas, I met the man of my dreams: my soul mate. We had identical twin boys (see picture). My husband's job took us to Midland, TX for 2 years. We joke that Texas should be renamed Football. My husband said we should consider changing our religion to the state religion of football and our realtor corrected us: high school football. After Midland, we moved back to Phoenix for a year, but his job caused us to find our way back to Las Vegas. So here we are. I finished my Master's in Mental Health Counseling in 2010 and I am currently working on my PhD. No, I don't give discounts for friends and family: it would be unethical. Besides, I'd go broke. You'd understand if you knew my family. Friends, too. Heck, I'd go broke trying to figure me out, too. Enough about me. What's your story?
